Eleven13

I grew up on the North Shore of Chicago in a very old house surrounded by trees.  My mother's family had moved to the Chicago area from in Iowa, and before that, Ireland.  My father's family had been in Illinois for a while.  

Propelled by the turmoil of the 60s, once I left home for college I never lived there again.  I've resided on both coasts, travelled across country, and wound up living near mountains.  I like the altitude.

My jobs have been varied over the years; my life unconventional at times, but always interesting.  I'm trying to slow down a bit, and enjoy life with my two beautiful German Shepherd dogs.  In the evenings, I write.
